About the project
Located in the prestigious Al Satwa area of Dubai, directly opposite the renowned Landmark City Walk and close to Sheikh Zayed Road, this luxury villa project represents a full transformation led by Shawa Architecture. Our scope covered the complete architectural redesign, full interior design, landscape, and rooftop experiences.
The villa is a celebration of contemporary elegance, where minimalist modern interiors blend with luxurious materials and cultural depth. The exterior façades were reimagined with clean lines and crowned by a custom-designed roof shade that casts artistic shadows, enhancing both form and mood. The rooftop terraces feature landscaped seating, lush planters, and BBQ zones—all overlooking breathtaking views of the Burj Khalifa and Dubai’s iconic skyline.
Inside, the design narrative extends to a unique wooden-clad private gym, offering a warm, natural atmosphere that encourages wellness. Meanwhile, the modern Islamic Majlis draws inspiration from traditional Arabic design, featuring soft lines, earthy tones, and a handcrafted Quranic verse on the ceiling, adding a soulful and deeply rooted cultural layer to the space.
Concept
Our concept aimed to fuse modern simplicity with cultural richness, creating a refined sanctuary in the heart of the city. The architectural façade design introduces bold geometry softened by a roof shade structure that filters sunlight into captivating patterns—creating not just shade, but ambiance.
The interiors embrace a minimal luxury approach—a palette of gray, champagne metallics, and rich textures. At the heart of the villa lies the show kitchen, featuring a sculptural gray island, shimmering champagne-toned cabinets, and a dramatic onyx feature wall, elevating the entire living experience.
The villa also features two uniquely designed rooftops—urban retreats with lush landscaping, built-in seating, and panoramic skyline views. The private gym, entirely wrapped in warm wood, introduces a calming organic feel, promoting both physical and mental well-being.
A highlight of the interior concept is the modern Islamic Majlis, where traditional inspiration meets contemporary design. The space is centered around a handmade ceiling artwork, a Quranic verse crafted by artisans, bringing spirituality and elegance together under one roof.
